Back to paper, mostly

For two years almost everything I read was on a screen. It was convenient, and I remembered noticeably less of it.

Now long books are on paper again, and the e-reader is for travel and for anything I only need once. The paper copies are slower to carry around, but I find myself flipping back a few pages far more often, which seems to be most of what remembering is.

The e-reader still wins on one point: reading in bed without a lamp.
